More About Annette

Annette lives in the quiet mountains of Virginia with her husband Keith and the deer, squirrels and chipmunks. She stays in shape by hiking, horseback riding and teaching Yoga once a week. "We all have our vices and mine is Yoga. I am a competitive person and Yoga is a calming passion for me... can't put my leg behind my head but can touch my toes easily!. "

Adventure is key to Annette's enjoyment of life and she is especially curious about other cultures...how people live and what customs they value.  "My biggest adventure to date has been horseback riding in the most remote area of Mongolia.  Camping was a bit of a challenge but the horses, the people and the landscape were all amazing!"

She spent 20 years in the corporate world in a variety of management roles before evolving into the entrepreneur she is today. "I put myself through college selling Tupperware so my entrepreneur itch started early. Even while in corporate, I had a successful store front business that I spent my evenings and weekends working on."

Annette started her career as a mechanical engineer. At different times she was responsible for project engineering, production management, research development and management at Fortune 500 chemical companies."Most of my colleagues were very linear in their careers but not me.  Once I mastered a particular management role, I was ready to move on to the next challenge."

She received two patents and was awarded Woman Of The Year by The National Association of Professional Women. Annette is the author of the bestselling book “Rescue Me! How To Save Yourself and Your Sanity When Things Go Wrong”, teaching real solutions and tools to work through tough situations.

She studied at five international universities and has transformed people in North and South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. "Studying business around the world was amazing.  Yes, every place is different in many aspects of how business is conducted but at the end of the day, I found people, no matter where they live, just want to be respected and treated as valuable human beings.  I guess we all want this."
